Craftsmanship and technology
Understanding how something actually works.
My first professional worlds were practical and technical: mechanics, vehicle refinishing and electrical engineering. There I learned to look closely, understand how things connect and take responsibility for a result.
Entrepreneurship and projects
Decisions have real consequences.
Later came self-employment, entrepreneurship, large projects and complex organisations. I know situations in which people act under time pressure, interests collide and an apparently factual question has long since become a human one as well.
My own reorientation
I wanted to manage something meaningful.
At some point, the answers that had guided me no longer carried me. Over a five-year process, I stepped out of my “golden cage” and reoriented my life.
Not because stepping away is inherently the better solution, but because I had realised for myself that I wanted to work more consistently with and for people.
That experience helps me today to take seriously both the desire for profound change and the possibility of change within an existing life.
Taking care of myself
For me, self-care is not a feel-good concept.
Being there for others and taking responsibility is sustainable only if your own limits, needs and inner states are noticed as well. “Taking care of myself” became a consistent principle in my own life and work.
Training and approach
Mindfulness-based systemic work.
My training as a mindfulness-based systemic coach at Awaris combined systemic thinking with mindfulness as precise perceptual work. This focus continues to shape my coaching today.
I trust that people can find a solution in the process that fits them and where they are in their development. My task is to shape the setting for this with clarity, attention and responsibility.
What shapes my approach
Development needs more than a method.
People can develop throughout their lives. For this, they need less pressure than meaning, connection, autonomy and experiences that open up new paths.
I listen closely, meet the person opposite me with genuine interest and use methods only where they serve the person. Responsibility for one’s own life, confidence and the willingness to keep learning are, for me, inseparable from good support.
